Congratulations to DesignerT for her football player. This one turned out to be a particularly challenging design task, and I thank you all for your efforts.

Well done, Designers! Your ideas for DUC Air uniforms were terrific and I loved the pants outfit of the community winner, Tomi_Spades, for her safety check crew uniform. A crisp white shirt with black trousers is a very chic and professional look. Another great design by Tomi!

I was very pleased to see so many great designs for DUC Air cabin crew uniforms, and the Cammy's Choice for this challenge is Hayleleanne. Her design of a textured jacket, with an embellished skirt in the DUC colors caught my eye during the preliminary voting. Using our DUC scarf and bag, along with coordinating jewelry as accessories really tied the look together.

Both Tomi_Spades and Hayleleanne will be receiving the following special gift for their winning designs.

Challenge Info

Design an outfit based on the color of your birthstone;

Your birthstone is the gemstone associated with the month of your birth, the wearing of which is commonly thought to bring good luck or health. Some people buy a stone for each month, and wear it during that month for extra luck.

It's thought that the tradition of wearing your birthstone began in the 1st century, but an author on the subject has written that the custom began in Poland in the 18th century.

This challenge is to do an outfit of your choice using the color of your birthstone as the primary color. Name your makeover for the month of your birthday.

If you don't know your birthstone, here is a list of the stones and months, and the color that is associated with the stone.

January Birthstone - Garnet- deep red
February Birthstone - Amethyst-purple or violet
March Birthstone - Aquamarine-light blue green
April Birthstone - Diamond-white, although there are colored diamonds too so you have a choice.
May Birthstone - Emerald-green
June Birthstone - Pearl-white/cream
July Birthstone - Ruby-red
August Birthstone - Peridot-lighter greenish yellow
September Birthstone - Sapphire-deep blue
October Birthstone - Opal -there are many different color opal, so pick one you like.
November Birthstone - Topaz-yellow
December Birthstone - Turquoise-blue-green

This challenge will let you express yourself creatively, but remember to use your birthstone color as the primary color in your design.

Challenge Rules

Please read the guidelines below so your design will qualify to win.

• When you enter this challenge, your submission must be created using the Fashion Maker
• You may accessorize with items from your closet, but the garment itself must be an original
• Decorative embellishments made with Fashion Maker are fine, but extras like background graphics that detract from the garment are to be avoided
• Use a neutral, plain background so that your design will show up nicely

The Cammy's Choice winner (selected by me) will receive a unique gift as a reward for having a makeover that both looks good and falls within the guidelines of the challenge.

The Community-voted winner (chosen by you) will also receive a unique gift for having a makeover that wins the popular vote of the Community.
