Cammy writes a bi-weekly column called "Cammy's Corner" that offers fun challenges. Enter to win a challenge by reading Cammy's Corner and following the rules and instructions. You can find the latest challenge and Cammy's Corner on the main page of DressUp Challenge.
There are usually two winners in a Cammy's Challenge. One winner is hand selected by Cammy herself - this winner is chosen based on for having a makeover that both looks good and falls within guidelines of challenge. The other winner is chosen by you, the community, and receives the popular vote.
The Cammy Winner (hand selected by Cammy) and the Community voted winner (chosen by you) will both receive a unique gift. This is a gift that will not be included as part of the daily gift for all members so it is a rare and unique gift given just to the winners of the challenge. Recognition will be posted for all winners.

No. In fact, this may delay our ability to address any technical problems you are experiencing if you do not send those issues to us directly. If you are experiencing a technical problem with DressUp Challenge, we want you to contact us by sending an email to support@dressupchallenge.com with the following information: your User Name, browser version (if you know it), the steps we should follow to recreate the problem, and a detailed description of the problem itself. It would also be very helpful if you could attach a screenshot (if possible) of the problem as it's happening.
Your makeovers and designs can sometimes appear blurry. This isn’t technically a bug with the site, but something that happens when we need to compress an image so that it doesn’t take so long for you to download the image. Basically, if we didn’t compress the image, (i.e., decrease the overall size of the image) it would take a very long time for you to load most of the images you see on DressUp Challenge. We’re looking at ways to fix this in the future, but we won’t be able to fix any of your makeovers or creations that are currently appearing blurry.
Rankings are a way for you to see how your points totals compare to other DressUp Challenge members. You earn points by doing various things on the site, such as entering a Challenge, creating a Makeover, and winning a Challenge. These points all add up to your ranking. There are different rankings on the site. Your overall point total, your best all-time ranking, and your rank this week. When you are logged in, you can find these along the top of the right-hand side of the page and on your My Page.
While we encourage creativity and discourage copying other users' makeovers for the sake of contest entries, users are permitted to try to create copies of makeovers that they have enjoyed. We will be implementing a time stamp that will indicate the time of day a makeover was created on the original makeover's page. That way there can be no doubt which one was created first. Surely copying the best form or flattery, right?

Below your makeovers on your profile page (My Page), you'll notice that you have sections called Premier Design and Fashion Designs. The items you have created using Fashionmaker will appear in the Fashion Designs section. You can choose one of these items to be your Premier Design. Simply click into your chosen creation and select “Make this my Premier Design”. Once you have done this, you will notice that this item now appears on your profile page in the Premier Design section.

Your Signature Look appears throughout DressUp Challenge – when you post a comment, on your My Page, and along the top of every page. In order to make a Signature Look you must first do a makeover and save it. Then click go to My Page. When you are on My Page, you will see your makeovers appear in the box My Makeovers. Click on the look you like best. This will bring you to a page featuring a larger view of that look. On this page, click on the "Make this my Signature Look" link. Voila -- now this makeover is your Signature Look.

In order to enter a challenge, you must be a registered member on DressUp Challenge. You will also need to have Flash 9 installed on your computer. You can find the challenge on the main page of DressUp Challenge. Once you know what the challenge is, click on Create Makeovers at the top of any page, and play the makeover game. You will be asked at the end of your makeover if you want to enter the challenge. If you would like to enter the challenge, save your makeover and enter.

On Day 1, go to the Vote page and you’ll see 8 looks featured side by side. Click on the one you like best in each group. Your votes will determine the top 50 finalists.

On Day 2, the top 50 will be revealed in a face-off challenge. Click on your favorite, and that look will advance to go head-to-head with the next entrant. Continue clicking until you have voted on all the face-offs. The ultimate winners will be revealed the next day.

There are two voting phases for challenges. The first phase features all the entrants. There are usually over 5,000 entries per challenge so it is likely that you won’t see your own entry. The second phase features the Top 50 looks as decided during the first round of voting. You will only see your look here if it makes it into the Top 50. You can read a more comprehensive explanation of how voting works here.

Round 1 winners are selected based on having earned the highest percentage of votes.

Final winners are selected using the ELO rating system (originally developed for chess competitions), to ensure fair voting among challengers regardless of number of views.

You should receive a gift announcement right after you log in. Very occasionally, our magical Gift Fairy gets confused and forgets to tell you she's been by with a surprise. If this happens, go to Do A Makeover and search your items. More often than not, you should find that your gift has been mixed in with other clothing of the same type.

Unfortunately, we don’t normally give away old gifts. However, there may be special occasions when we dig through the gift vault and give away some old gifts. We’ll notify the DressUp Challenge community when we are going to give away old gifts.

Look for the "Find Friends" button on My Page located on the bottom right-hand side (in the "My Friends" box). That button links to a screen where you can search for DressUp Challenge members.

When you have a pending friend request, there will be a message with a link located at the top of your My Makeovers page. Clicking the link takes you to a page where you can approve/disapprove pending friend requests.

No, the member will not be notified if you disapprove of a friend request.

Kudos are little rewards that you can give to community members for makeovers you think are especially note-worthy. Feel free to share them around and let others know that you think they have done a great job!

It’s easy to earn points on DressUp Challenge. You can earn points when you enter a challenge, receive votes in a challenge, receive an award in a challenge, reach the finals of a challenge, vote in a challenge, leave a comment on another member’s page, and create a makeover.

Points are just for fun, and are a great way to challenge yourself and other members. It’s likely that DressUp Challenge will add ways for you to use your points in the future.

From My Page page, you will see a link to My Closet within the My Collection area. Your closet will be filled with all of the clothing you have received on DressUp Challenge, along with any of the items you have created yourself. From your closet, you'll be able to choose items to create new fabulous makeovers.

Fashionmaker allows you to create new custom clothing items that you'll be able to proudly showcase to your friends and the rest of the community. You can design, choose colors and fabrics, and even add that special extra dazzling touch that will make your creations unique. There are easy steps to follow – you can start with one of our templates or go it alone. Your imagination is the limit!

We really love receiving suggestions from members and will be sure to share them with the appropriate people here at DressUp Challenge. Please send your suggestions to support@dressupchallenge.com.
